We used an avalanche probe to check the depth of the snow in the deposition zone. It was on average at least 10 feet deep. |

There was a small pit dug on the edge of the debris field with a snowboard track leading up to it. From there we saw two boot tracks leaving the deposition zone. We checked with our avalanche beacons for a signal other than our own just in case but we didn't pick up a signal. |

After a brief discussion we decided to climb the slide path and check out the start zone of this slide to see if we could learn anything about how this slide was triggered. |
