Bristlecone and Limber Pine country
The ridge Moriah and I decided to top out at was above 10,000 feet. Bristlecone and Limber pine were
plentiful. We scared up a few grouse on our next trip back here but I never managed a picture of one on
this day let alone actually see one on this day. I knew they were close by the various tracks I saw.
Moriah needed a breather and so did I.

We contemplate our first descent on this east face.

Some 'older' debris was in the drainage at the bottom.

This was as much visibility as there was that day. The slide debris was at the bottom of this drainage.
